Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, set parking brake, and wear safety gear.
- Protect painted surfaces with masking tape where trim will be worked.
- Carefully pry up the windshield molding or trim section using a plastic trim tool to expose old clips.
- Remove old or broken clips with needle-nose pliers or a flathead screwdriver, taking care not to damage the molding or channel.
- Clean the clip channel and mating surfaces with isopropyl alcohol; allow to dry.
- Match new clips from the kit to the original clip profile and positions—orient each clip in the same direction as the removed clip.
- Press or snap each new clip into the metal channel or onto the molding flange until it seats fully (listen for a tactile click).
- Re-seat the windshield molding by aligning it over the clips and pressing evenly along the length to engage all clips.
- Inspect the installed molding for uniform fit, then trim or adjust any clips that prevent full seating.
- Check for gaps, rattles, or water intrusion after installation; road-test at low speed and re-check fit if necessary.
