Instructions:
- Remove the hard top or gain access to the seal area and carefully pull out the old weatherstrip; use a trim tool or screwdriver to loosen clips if present.
- Clean the mating surfaces thoroughly with rubbing alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt and oils; allow to dry completely.
- Compare the new seals to the old pieces to confirm left/right orientation and fit; trim any excess only if necessary.
- If adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or seal flange per adhesive instructions.
- Position the new seal in place starting at one end and pressing firmly into the channel; use masking tape or spring clamps to hold the seal while adhesive sets.
- Reinstall the hard top and check for uniform contact along the seal; adjust seating as needed to eliminate gaps.
- Allow adhesive to cure per manufacturer directions (if used), then perform a water test and road-noise check to confirm proper installation.
